Rene Franco Jr. MDRene Franco Jr. MD is a local from the south Texas area, having grown up in Alice, just 45 west of Corpus Christi.  Dr. Franco attended Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 2003.  He attained his medical degree from Medical University of the Americas in January 2010.  Dr. Franco then headed west to Tucson, Arizona and completed his Internal Medicine training at the University of Arizona in Tucson – South Campus Hospital.  The journey ended only after successfully completing his Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship training at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas.  With a plethora of clinical experience, Dr. Franco has an exemplary history of volunteer work in several communities.  Dr. Franco loves his job and is looking forward to his next endeavor which includes heading the Pulmonary Program for San Rafael Nursing Home here in Corpus Christi.
