A Note From Therapy
Mr. F was admitted to San Rafael after being hospitalized from a motor vehicle accident. Mr. F was attending physical therapy and occupational therapy 5 times a week in order to reach his goals of being independent with dressing, toileting and home management so that he could return to his residence by himself safely. Mr. F worked very hard daily to attain those goals. He was expected to stay approximately a month but was able to return home in two weeks due to all his hard work and the work of the therapists. Nursing played a vital role in his care providing pain management so that he was able to attend therapy regularly and gain maximum benefit from his hard work.
